Synopsis
Documentary that reveals tactics of international security operations. Part 1, "Badges Without Borders," profiles the U.S. State Department's Diplomatic Security Service, which protects American consulates and personnel in over 260 outposts around the world. This group of law enforcement and security specialists reveals how to protect a high-threat post, such as the U.S. Embassy in Cairo, from terrorist attacks. Part 2, "The Thin Blue Line," profiles the Ya'mas, Israel's National Police Border Guard undercover unit. Often masquerading as Arab men and women behind enemy lines, these undercover operators are far more than a tactical assault force. The program also features the commando cops, known as GEK Cobra, who protect Austria's citizens and national interests from terror attacks. In New York City, the program reveals how NYPD's Emergency Service Unit thwarted a gang of terrorists plotting to bomb one of the cities busiest subway lines.
