Synopsis
Profile of AIDS activist Elizabeth Glaser, wife of actor Paul Michael Glaser. In 1981, Glaser was infected with the AIDS virus during a blood transfusion while pregnant with daughter Ariel. Ariel also contracted the disease through breastmilk. Glaser spent the ensuing years raising awareness of the AIDS epidemic through her activism. In 1988, Ariel died of AIDS. Six years later, Glaser also succumbed.
