Synopsis
Documentary about the Sri Lankan elephant. Worshipped for centuries on the primarily Buddhist island, the elephant is being tested as the human population grows and space becomes limited. Sri Lanka's wild elephants cannot find food in their shrinking natural habitat and are forced to raid farmer's crops, risking injury by guns and snares. Others have found refuge in the Pinwalla Elephant Orphanage because the island is running out of space.
