Synopsis
An "HBO Showcase" television movie about a battle of wits between a disturbed death-row inmate and his prison psychiatrist who is charged with deciding if the prisoner is insane -- thereby saving him from the gas chamber -- or faking insanity -- a determination that would send him to his death.
