Synopsis
Coming-of-age drama set in 1939, focuses on a blooming romance set against the backdrop of an Irish cattle drive. Follows the journey of young Irishman Mark Doran, a cattle farmer who decides to walk 40 miles with his cows to the village of Trallock to get a fair price for his herd rather than sell at a loss. His fellow farmers are skeptical, but his persistence wins their support and he sets off on his journey accompanied by a group of colorful characters, including his Aunt Maeve. When the woman he loves, Annie Mullaney, joins him on the road, Mark is forced to face his fears about commitment and confront her intimidating and over-protective father Fergus.
