Synopsis
Television movie based on Daniel Keyes' book about Charlie Gordon, a mentally retarded man who becomes super-intelligent by means of a scientific experiment. As Charlie gains intelligence and loses his childlike innocence, he must learn how to survive in the unforgiving adult environment that has shunned him throughout his life. When the experiment goes awry, Charlie finds himself struggling between his past and present worlds.
