Synopsis
Tough, brilliant Lynne Jacobi realizes the district-attorney title now held by her boss is within her reach if she can get a suspect convicted in the brutal attack and rape of a controversial talk-show hostess. Bobby Jones, Jacobi's investigator and also her lover, disagrees with her on who is the likeliest suspect. Upon discovering that he is not her choice to assume her present spot after her promotion, he sets out -- with the help of an attractive TV reporter -- sabotage Lynne's case.
