Synopsis

Documentary that profiles four scientists who study the earth's most dangerous animals up close. Craig Ferraira, the son of a white shark fisherman, has devoted his life to understanding Great Whites in their natural habitat. The program travels to tiny Dyer Island, off the coast of South Africa, as Craig tries to get Great White DNA samples for a project with the University of Illinois. Then the program takes viewers to Queensland, Australia, where Frank Seebacher and Mark Read take a team of volunteer biologists to capture crocodiles and implant them with small computers that will record valuable data. Finally, the program profiles Gerry Martin, India's youngest snake conservationist as Gerry relocates snakes that have wandered into populated areas.
