Synopsis
Using techniques and equipment never before available, the program documents the first international scientific expedition in search of the legendary abominable snowman in the Himalayas. Experts in ape and bear behavior, a skeptic and a natural history cameraman hunt the unexplored areas of Bhutan, the remote kingdom between India and Nepal. The search yields eye-witness testimony and possible remains of the creature. Assisted by specially developed cameras and traps, the investigators gather evidence for analysis by a world expert on DNA, Professor Brian Sykes, the first man to extract genes from ancient human bones.
