Synopsis
Documentary about one of Alcatraz Prison's most famous (and possibly only successful) escape attempts. In 1962, three convicts, Frank Lee Morris and the Anglin Brothers, John and Clarence, broke out of the cell house, scrambled to the shore and dove into the frigid San Francisco Bay. Besides a paddle found on a nearby island, no sign was ever found of the three men. The program revisits the men's scheme and interviews others who knew the convicts, including fellow inmates and the guards they fooled.
