Synopsis
Eugenio is a man about fifty with a caring family, work he believes in, a personal routine, and a house in the country. This seems a simple and ordinary profile, but Eugenio is challenged by Down's syndrome, and every task of living is a struggle to achieve a sense of normalcy. Eugenio's special personality radiates contentment as he magically provides strength to others who are not burdened with the problems he faces because of his disabilities. He works in a rest home for recovering accident victims where his kindness and wisdom mysteriously influence a young woman who languishes listlessly in her wheelchair, giving up on life.
