Synopsis

Story centers on Rinda, a tough fry-cook passing through a dusty Southwestern burg and picking up some cash in the local greasy spoon. She also picks up a local stud, who unknown to Rinda, is married to a good-girl type, Hallie. Soon after the mousy wife surprises the lovers en flagrante, the two women forge and unlikely alliance and they hit the road for Phoenix. The good-girl/bad-girl dynamics are further complicated by the sudden arrival of a mysterious--yet rather charming hitchhiker named Dodge. The ladies, who require his assistance with some car trouble, decide to forge ahead with their good-looking third passenger... Meanwhile, back in the small town, a police lieutenant investigating a robbery-murder sets out for the killer, all trails leading to Rinda and Hallie's newfound friend, Dodge.
