A true family affair that not only starred Loren and son but also was produced by Alex Ponti, her stepson, and featured her niece, Allesandra Mussolini (Benito's granddaughter), this movie was filmed on location in Italy with an all Italian and French cast, except for Daniel J. Travanti, as one of the boy's possible fathers, and Anna Strasberg (Lee's widow). Originally it was titled "Aurora By Night" and then "My Three Loves."
