Synopsis

Television movie based on the 1988 feature film "Alien Nation" and the 1989-90 television series of the same name. Set in the future when earth is inhabited by both humans and the alien race of "Newcomers." During a hotly contested election, a human police detective and his Newcomer partner sort through two apparently unrelated crimes committed by Newcomers. They come up with a deadly common thread, a link to the Udara, a top secret cadre of alien freedom fighters engaging in guerilla-warfare tactics against the slave ship's cruel Overseers who allegedly disbanded long ago.
