Synopsis

Documentary about the 28 officially recognized terrorist organizations, each one with hundreds, and sometimes thousands of members worldwide. Funded and trained by terrorist kingpins like Osama Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein, these groups have the power to buy nuclear, biological and chemical weapons, and the will to use them on civilian targets. The program also takes a look at the training facility the Department of Justice runs in Anniston, Alabama, where trainees are able to stage WMD (Weapons of Mass Destruction) exercises. Cameras follow Army personnel as they practice evacuating and treating victims of a stadium gas attack. Then, viewers are introduced to the U.S. Nuclear Emergency Search Team (NEST). The team's head, Lisa Gordon-Hagerty describes how her 1,000 specialists are trained to dismantle nuclear bombs and are on 24-hour standby.
