Synopsis
Daniel Boone and Davy Crockett stand out as two of the most important pioneers who blazed early paths to the West. Both were famous as hunters, fighters and heroes, but they were two very different individuals. Daniel Boone brought civilization and Jeffersonian values to the wilderness. Two generations later, Davy Crockett took the characteristics of the frontiersman to the East. Both would suffer greatly for their achievements. Boone would lose many loved ones as he tried to tame the rugged land, while Crockett would meet his end on a fateful day at the Alamo.
