Synopsis
After the fall of Communism, brothers Roman and Edek Kowalski go to Paris to make their fortunes. Unsuccessful schemers, the pair fake their way into a film festival, pretending to be an Icelandic director and his publicist. They charm everyone, and are soon in hot competition for the coveted prize the Golden Cork. Edek, meanwhile, falls for reclusive American star Elizabeth.
