Synopsis

Curt has always been in the shadow of his older, more confident brother Andy. When Andy urges Kurt to audition for the high school play, Curt does so and is surprised to be cast as the lead. Soon, he falls for his leading lady Lisa, and for the first time gains some social and romantic confidence. This new found self esteem is shattered when he discovers that Andy pulled strings to get him the part. Worse, when he steps down, Andy replaces him not only in the play, but in Lisa's affections. For Curt, it is the last straw.
