Synopsis

A depiction of the poetry, love and betrayal that bound together two of history's most celebrated poets, William Wordsworth and Samuel Taylor Coleridge. The early collaboration of these two men who would become literary icons was at the turn of the 19th century, during a tumultuous period of political insurrection and romantic idealism. The friendship of the duo, and their relationship with Wordsworth's sister and Coleridge's wife, would follow a similarly turbulent course. The men experienced rivalry, jealousy and addiction in their ultimately diverging quests for artistic freedom.
