Synopsis
21-year-old prostitute Qin Yan lives in a tiny Hong Kong apartment, and sees clients in various hotels around the city. Young Fan lives with her family, next door to Yan, where she helps her mother wash dishes for extra cash. Both immigrants from mainland China, Yan and Fan become friends. But eventually, when her permit expires, Yan must return north to her home and family, where she will decide her future plans.
