Synopsis

When her husband breaks up with her moments before they're scheduled to depart on a flight to Buenos Aires, Helene is in emotional turmoil. As her husband's flight leaves, Helene decides to stay at the Paris airport, and only at the airport. Traveling with two suitcases of clothes, Helene begins eating in the airport restaurants and using its bathrooms. When she finally runs out of money she begins a career as a prostitute, building up a small clientele of traveler-customers. With the help of sympathetic staffers, stewardesses and other people caught in transient life, Helene is able to get by in her new life.
