Synopsis
In a dark forest, on the remote Japanese island of Shikoku, live the cursed Bonomia women. They are condemned to guard the spirits of Inugami - wild dogs that, if let out of their storage urns, would wreak havoc on the island. Then Miki, one of the woman trained to watch over the dog sprits, falls in love with Akira, a young teacher who is new in town. The villagers begin to notice a strange fog hanging over the island, and a local hunter fears that he has seen a wild dog. Could the secret of the island destroy the young lovers, and the whole community?
