Synopsis
Former detective Brenner has become an ambulance driver and finds himself, much to his dismay, caught up in a war between two rival first aid organizations. Brenner himself has been taken on by the 'Kreuzrettern'. His boss did not object to his past with the police, on the contrary. After all the murders in the accident service branch, he is happy to have a sleuth in his ranks. In the meantime, Brenner smokes too much, has migraine attacks and also has the rare gift of not being able to distinguish major issues from minor ones. So he notices the silliest things. Brenner's unwilling return to the life of a detective starts when two lovers, in mid-kiss, fall to the ground, impassioned. A devilishly good shot has united them in eternity. The exhausted Brenner doesn't want to know, but his co-driver wants to set off and investigate. Soon more blood flows and Brenner bumps into an old childhood love - one he wasn't interested back then either.
