Synopsis
A German sound recordist is summoned to Lisbon by a filmmaker friend. Upon arriving, he learns that the friend has disappeared, but has left behind silent documentary film footage. The sound man wanders Lisbon recording sounds, and has an affair with a singer. Eventually, the filmmaker returns disillusioned about film in general. The sound man attempts to restore his old friend's faith.
