Synopsis
Set in Lisbon, an ensemble drama that explores the lives of a tight-knit group of friends. These women "of a certain age" are professionals: mothers, lovers and wives, each of whom is facing a mid-life crisis, questioning their lives and wondering if there isn't something more. Linda is a TV journalist who discovers that despite her success, she's sleepwalking through a surprisingly empty life; Eva is a passionate and romantic professor who finds herself hopelessly in love with a man half her age; Chloe is the owner of a beauty salon who becomes attracted to another woman. Bianca is an actress, who's temperament drives her to extremes; and Barbara, is a caterer who takes solace in her family as she faces an alarming crisis.
