Synopsis
Follows a few days in the lives of a group of Los Angeles twenty-somethings searching for fame while drowning in illusion and addiction. Max is a struggling actor whose gambling problem is plunging him deeper and deeper into debt while his girlfriend, Brigette, struggles daily with alcohol. When Brigette bets Max that she can go longer without drinking than he can without gambling, a war is waged. Stuck in the middle is Max's best friend Doug, a level-headed, straight-laced screenwriter whose only addiction is a need to surround himself with dysfunctional friends. Sitting in judgement of everyone is Max and Doug's friend Grant, who lives in a world of denial.
