Brief Synopsis

Annie Porter's last boyfriend Jack--a daredevil cop--didn't turn out to be too much of a romantic type and they have long since parted ways. She's now dating a much quieter, relaxed guy. To be sure, Alex Shaw also works in law enforcement, but he drives a ten-speed bike, and his most perilous duty is busting teenage pickpockets at Venice Beach. Alex, who's actually a member of an elite SWAT unit, hides the nature of his actual duties, for fear of losing Annie.
