Synopsis
After the death of her only daughter, a spirited and passionate young widow named Esperanza summons the spirit of Saint Jude who mysteriously appears in the window of her oven. The spirit reveals what Esperanza had been praying for -- that her daughter is alive and if Esperanza searches the seedy brothels of Tijuana she just may find her. Esperanza travels to Tijuana, where she encounters some low life characters and is forced to take up prostitution herself to continue her search.
