Synopsis

On a casual stroll through a park in Milan, Sister Caterina is handed a newborn baby by a jogger who found the child abandoned and wrapped in a sweater. A tag on the sweater leads the nun to Ernesto, a disgruntled loner who runs a dry cleaning business. As an odd bond draws Caterina and Ernesto together, the fact that he may be the child's father is revealed -- an issue that not only forces him to redirect his life and values but causes Caterina to seriously question her vocational vows in light of her urgings for motherhood and a family of her own.
