Brief Synopsis

A study about the unbearable heaviness of dating and academia as it effects the many levels of self-imposed unhappiness of a group of intellectuals in contemporary Paris. The story finds its center on the trials and tribulations of Paul, a chain-smoking grad student and teacher with an eternally unfinished dissertation and deliberately complex emotional life.
