Synopsis
Story of Joe, who is struggling with sobriety after 20 years of alcoholism. His commitment to a local football team is an essential part of his new grip on reality, and he sees it as a way to give something back to the community. He gets involved with the financial problems of a team member, Liam, and his partner Sabine. They owe money to a gang, and are unable to pay it. Sabine is a drug addict, and has turned to prostitution to try to pay off the debt. Meanwhile, Joe meets Sarah, Liam and Sabine's social worker, and tries to change his life.
