Synopsis

Set in a suburban town, this is a tale about nerdy, frustrated, terminally shy, Simon, who's currently employed as a garbage man. He is the sole breadwinner for his clinically depressed mom and his sexually aggressive sister Fay. Following a encounter with a mysterious bum, named Henry Fool, who possesses a prodigious gift for words, Simon begins to write down his thoughts. When Simon unsuccessfully visits a publisher about his poetry, Henry arranges for Simon's work to be posted on the Internet. Simon becomes an instant celebrity, courted by publishers and sought after by fans. Henry and Simon quarrel, Henry feeling as though his efforts have gone unappreciated and Simon happy to be free of Henry's dominating personality.
