Synopsis
Nick is a Scotsman making a life for himself in Bristol, England. For Nick, that life is a pretty good one: he's got his job as a plasterer, his hobby of football, and his nights out with his mates. And his life gets better when, one night out, he meets Karen. They fall in love, and move in together. Nick now has everything he wants out of life. Then, things start to unravel at home, on the job, and on the playing field. There's something wrong with Nick. Forced to cope with changes he never expected or wanted, Nick questions what matters most to him. Karen strives to give Nick the love and support she knows he needs, even though his life, and their life together, can never be the same again.
