Synopsis
With millennial fever approaching, the Pope gets a phone call from the Virgin Mary, telling him that God has decided to end the world. But he is giving humanity one last chance: he is sending John the Baptist back to earth for a week to look for signs of redemption. John goes incognito in a small Canadian town, where he strikes up a friendship with a TV show host and her feckless husband.
