Synopsis

A diverse group of characters share the torments, terror and triumph of recovering alcoholics during an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting. The movie brings us face to face with these characters as they "share" their experiences -- monologues that are often disturbing, sometimes hopeful, and even raucously funny. After he hastily exits the safety of the meeting, Jim ventures into the seamy world around New York's Times Square, where he flirts dangerously with the allure of booze.
