Synopsis
Focusing on hatred and homophobia in the heartland--an investigation of the 1993 murder of a handsome 20-year-old who arrived in a small Nebraskan town, made friends, and found a pretty girlfriend, and three weeks later on Christmas Eve was brutally raped when it was discovered that the likeable Brandon Teena was really Teena Brandon, a young woman living as a man. A week later, on New Year's Eve, the two rapists murdered Brandon and two hapless witnesses in what became a triple homocide.
