Synopsis
Cocky, but ambitious, Sean Okden is determined to follow his passion to become a ground-breaking tap dancer rather than follow in the footsteps of most of the young men in his town who expect nothing more than to make a minimum wage at the local steel mill. Though his father and brothers mock him, Sean perserveres, casting aside the trademark top hats and tailcoats of tap for steel and nail plated work boots and rock-n-roll to create a new form of tap that is raw, industrial, and speaks to a new generation of dancers eager to make traditional forms of dance express their own experiences.
