Synopsis

Anne Nolan meets Officer Craig Mitchell when he rescues her from an attack by an abusive boyfriend. Though aware that he is married, Anne begins an affair with Craig. Unbeknownst to Anne, Craig's wife Wendy is threatening to expose police corruption that may ruin his career. Craig convinces Anne that they must kill Wendy in order to be together. Anne confronts Wendy in a parking lot and shoots her dead. After moving in with Craig and his children, Anne is unable to live with her feelings of guilt and goes to the police to tell them of the murder. No one believes her except for police psychologist Dr. Gayle Bennett.
