Brief Synopsis

Meme and her ten-year-old sister Aneta are orphaned after a car accident. Left with a limp, Meme develops self-esteem problems as the sister are thrown at the mercy of two spinster aunts in Uruguay. They escape to Buenos Aires where they both suffer late teen growing pains and other problems.
