Synopsis
Ted Andrews, whose childhood heritage of severe depression and a hatred of his mother has led him into sadistic activities, terrorizes his neighborhood by spying with a telescope into the intimate lives of his neighbors and making obscene and threatening phone calls. Ted's compulsions surface when he is under the influence of marijuana and LSD. Eventually, he becomes obsessed with a woman of dignity and wealth, and he sets out to degrade and humiliate her. He threatens to kill her 10-year-old son unless she cooperates, and as a result she agrees to perform erotically while he watches through his telescope. Ted later forces her to meet him at a motel in order to degrade her totally. [Includes a shower sequence and scenes of autoeroticism, sadism, lesbianism, and a murder.]
