Brinsley, an English lord, has a taste for married women that complicates his life. Forced to take a fishing trip to escape the husbands of his conquests, he meets Phyllis Hammond, an American traveling by train with her father, and he falls in love for the first time. Following them to Biarritz, Brinsley cultivates the young lady's affection.
