Synopsis
Oscar, a burly guard at Newberry Prison, gets into an argument with Jerry, a barber. Jerry tries to run away but is arrested as a fugitive and sent to Newberry. Both men fall in love with Mary, the warden's daughter. Oscar has the smallish Jerry put on the prison's football team to show him up, but he proves instead to be a hero. Oscar runs afoul of the law and is sent to a rival prison. Arthur is released but tries to return to prison so as to play against his rival in the big game. Jerry wins the game and Mary becomes his bride.
