Brief Synopsis

Jimmy O'Dea finds a briefcase of stolen jewels, mistaking it for his own bag. The two sergeants vie with each other to capture the thieves and the local inn-keepers daughter. The thieves are captured in the end and the cross-border hatchet is buried in the process

Synopsis

James Carabine comes to New York from Ireland, his fare paid by Peggy Nolan, a girl from his hometown who harbors an affection for the fighting Irishman. However, he falls for Marcolina, who leaves with him when her husband loses a match as the result of scheming by friends of Blanco Johnson. Then Peggy takes him in and, with the aid of an Irish relative, brings him back to form, enabling him to get even with Johnson in a knockout fight. Marcolina is united with Johnson and Carabine with Peggy.
