Synopsis
Television movie based on the book by Patricia MacLachlan about a family whose life is dramatically changed when a baby girl is mysteriously delivered on their doorstep with a cryptic note promising that one day the baby's mother will return. Lily, is a mother who is grappling with depression and guilt over the recent lost of her infant son. Lily's husband, unable to break through his wife protective shell, is drifting away; and their 12-year-old daughter Larkin is left to deal with the death of her brother on her own. As she cares for the abandoned infant, Lily and her family confront their grief and learn to live and love again.
