Synopsis
Peter Wyndham is unable to come to the aid of Hortense Allen when her jewels are stolen, and, disgusted with his cowardice, he heads west. He is bested by Boyan Boone but later is victorious in a long fight with the brutish Boone, thus freeing Boone's daughter, Mercy, from the chains with which she has been bound.
