Synopsis
In London, John Bain and Peter Carran rob a titled celebrity of her jewels; but once the coup has been accomplished, Carran deserts his partner and heads for Spain with the loot. Bain evades the police trap laid for him by Carran and joins forces with the latter's discarded black mistress, Gianna. After learning of Carran's escape to Spain, they take pursuit despite a mutual distrust of each other. Once in Madrid, however, they discover Carran has gone to Málaga. Bain captures him there but learns that he has not yet received payment from his smuggling connections. It is decided that Gianna will travel to Gibraltar by ship and pick up the money; but soon after her departure Carran escapes from Bain, gets to the ship first, and takes Gianna prisoner. Bain then surrenders himself to the police, and Carran is trapped aboard the ship. Gianna, by now in love with Bain, offers to help him make a new beginning.
