Archival Screening Night Roadshow is a treasure from the world's archives and archivists featuring more than 20 films and videos in 100 minutes. Compiled as the centerpiece of the Association of Moving Image Archivists (AMIA) conference, the program highlights incredible, strange, astonishing, hilarious and curious films from the world’s moving image archives.
The program features films from several countries, including Mexico, Thailand and New Zealand. Among the cinematic wonders are an appearance by Louis Jordan and the Tympany Five, a dancing bobcat (it's not what you expect!), Baltimore breakdancing (including the Chocolate Boogie), Jack Lemmon's first screen appearance as a helpless soldier, and much more.
