Synopsis
Former bookie Santo Bastucci is a vice president at a Brooklyn savings and loan and a family man with a reputation for loyalty. Manny is the Capo of the local mob, and is losing his grip on a neighborhood that is becoming more diverse. Manny could use a man like Santo. Because Santo's father-in-law is one of Manny's men, Manny takes advantage of Santo's loyalty to the man and asks him to do something shady at the bank for him. Soon Santo is walking the thin line of legitimate banker, loyal son-in-law and part time gangster, and realizes that each decision we make has consequences, not just for ourselves but for those around us. And taking the righteous path is not that easy, especially when there is a gun in your face.
