Synopsis
Thirteen-year-old Noor is a poor Kashmiri boy who goes to live with a wealthy woman named Begum. Jilted when she was young, Begum has lived as if frozen in time from the day her heart was broken. Noor is deeply smitten with her lovely daughter Firdaus, and in her bitterness, Begum taunts him and keeps the two teenagers apart. Years later, after going to Delhi and becoming a well-known artist, Noor returns to find that Firdaus is engaged, but the attraction between the two of them is still strong.
