Synopsis

Louis, a happy-go-lucky French Canadian, is accused of stealing gold from a mine in the Canadian Northwest, but he evades the law. He falls in love with Nedra, the mine owner's daughter, and rescues her and her father from a snowslide. Later, Louis is pursued by Sergeant Mooney of the Mounted Police on a dogsled, but when Louis saves the Mountie's life, he is vindicated of the crime and wins the lasting devotion of the girl.
